Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare , Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH ), which rose 15.65% or 4.48 points to trade at 33.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb ) added 2.88% or 2.80 points to end at 99.20 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb ) was up 2.40% or 3.70 points to 155.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb ), which fell 3.03% or 1.40 points to trade at 45.10 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ) declined 0.87% or 0.70 points to end at 73.70 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb ) was down 0.60% or 1.00 points to 156.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 417 to 340 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 0.87% or 0.70 to 73.70.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.18% or 0.80 to $68.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.79% or 0.56 to hit $71.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 5.80 to trade at $2,530.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.31% to 11.44, while USD/SEK rose 0.69% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 101.52.
