Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms , Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb ), which rose 2.39% or 2.40 points to trade at 102.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution AB (ST:EVOG ) added 2.11% or 19.80 points to end at 960.00 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN ) was up 1.98% or 32.00 points to 1,645.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ), which fell 8.44% or 6.90 points to trade at 74.80 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb ) declined 1.84% or 2.60 points to end at 138.80 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb ) was down 1.66% or 0.11 points to 6.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 425 to 328 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.23% or 0.16 to $70.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $74.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.90 to trade at $2,685.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.79% to 11.42, while USD/SEK rose 0.95% to 10.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.27.
