Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE
Hind Rectifiers, Juniper Hotels, SoftTech Engineers, Sona BLW Precision and Venus Pipes & Tubes, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Hind Rectifiers, Juniper Hotels, SoftTech Engineers, Sona BLW Precision and Venus Pipes & Tubes, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM(IST)on NSE.Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 26.86 points to 21924.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Vibhor Steel Tubes, Indiabulls Intgrtd, Peria Karamalai Tea, Ibull Housing Fin(PP)and Capital Small Financ, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 20 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Tata Consumer, RIL and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers, while Bajaj Auto, Apollo Hospital, LTIMindtree, Eicher Motors and Tata Motors traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 4.09 points down at 72300.79 at 11:10AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Diversified, Gems and Jewellery and Shipping sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Defence, Logistics, Trading and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
