Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.66%

On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 2.77 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.9 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.66 per cent down at 1023.65.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 10.56 points at 22957.1, while the BSE Sensex stood down 7.65 points at 75410.39.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 ended in the green, while 36 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, NHPC and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of JohnsonCtrls Hitachi, Aegis Logistics, Finolex Cables, Paras Defence and Inox Wind Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Veranda Learning Sol, Revathi Equipment, Future Supply Chain, Atal Realtech and Megastar Foods hit their fresh 52-week lows.
