Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.52% in a weak market

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.8 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.03 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.52 per cent at 1113.65 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 71.5 points at 24230.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 345.61 points at 79704.06.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Indian Railway Fin, Suzlon Energy, Rail Vikas Nigam and NBCC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Landmark Prop, Raymond, Shilpa Medicare, Ahluwalia Contracts and BEML hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Remsons Ind, Future Supply Chain, Praxis Home Retail, MEP Infrastructure and Poddar Housing hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
