Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.06%

On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 4.34 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.06 per cent down at 972.65.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 43.36 points at 22648.2, while the BSE Sensex stood up 128.33 points at 74611.11.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 ended in the green, while 22 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, South Indian Bnk and REC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Uravi T and Wedge, Pearl Polymers, Max Estates, Ram Ratna Wire and Amrutanjan Healt hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Adroit Infotech (PP), Kotak Bank, Future Supply Chain, Osia Hyper Retail and Gloster hit their fresh 52-week lows.
