Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.77% in an upbeat market

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 1.1 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.37 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.77 per cent at 1031.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 45.5 points at 23002.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 221.02 points at 75631.41.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, Rail Vikas Nigam and NHPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Ujaas Energy, Ashima Ltd, JohnsonCtrls Hitachi, M M Forgings and Balaxi Pharma hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Best Agrolife, IKIO Lighting, Sintex Plastics Tech, Revathi Equipment and Morarjee Text hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
