Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.64%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.64 per cent up at 960.85.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Wednesday.Shares of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 5.18 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 2.21 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.95 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent) and Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 1.2 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.4 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.04 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.64 per cent up at 960.85.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended 0.0 points at 22302.5, while the BSE Sensex stood down 45.46 points at 73466.39.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 ended in the green, while 24 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, PNB and IDFC First Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Transwarr Fin, Bharat Forge, IRIS Business Servic, Pudumjee Paper Prod and CarTrade Tech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while PayTM, Gloster, Filatex Fash, GSS Infotech and Berger Paints hit their fresh 52-week lows.
