Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.01% in a weak market

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.2 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.19 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.01 per cent at 980.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 14.0 points at 22389.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 18.23 points at 73645.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, YES Bank, BEL and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Indian Hume Pipe, Crompton Greaves, Kirloskar Elec, Cords Cable Ind and ISMT Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Brightcom Group, BKM Industries, Shyam Telecom, Lagnam Spintex and Thomas Scott hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
