Share price of Lupin rises as Nifty weakens

Shares of gained 0.65 per cent to Rs 1634.0 in Monday's trade as of 10:10AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 1635.0 and low of Rs 1610.1 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 3.49 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:10AM shares and turnover at Rs 3.56 crore around that time. The stock of quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1703.8 and 52-week low prices of Rs 655.75, respectively.

The stock's Beta value, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.75.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.73 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while FIIs held 18.28 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 16.82 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5226.78 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2023, up 2.91 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 5078.96 crore and up 20.43 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4340.18 crore. Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 613.12 crore, up 299.5 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Technicals
