NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 89.64 points up at 72101.69 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.On the BSE, Tower Infra Trust(down 19.35 per cent), Rama Steel Tubes(down 11.99 per cent), Gogia Capital(down 9.99 per cent), Blue Cloud Softech(down 9.31 per cent) and EP Biocomposites(down 9.26 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

The index closed 21.65 points up at 21839.1.
On the BSE, Tower Infra Trust, IIFL Finance, VXL Instruments, SCI Land and Assets and Shree Precoated hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Veljan Denison, PCS Technology, Chemiesynth(Vapi), Suvidha Infra and Swati Projects touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
