RVNL now valued more than Ircon, 4 other rail stocks combined

Among the above-mentioned peers, RVNL is followed by Ircon International with a market capitalization of Rs 29,179.5 crore, Jupiter Wagons and Titagarh Rail Systems with a market cap of Rs 28,965.69 crore and Rs 23,920.08 crore respectively.

The total market capitalization of PSU railway stock crossed the Rs 1.11 lakh crore mark on Tuesday, which is greater than the total combined value of its peers , , , & Engineering, and .

RVNL is the biggest railway stock in India in terms of market capitalization.

Among the above-mentioned peers, RVNL is followed by International with a market capitalization of Rs 29,179.5 crore, Jupiter Wagons and Titagarh Rail Systems with a market cap of Rs 28,965.69 crore and Rs 23,920.08 crore respectively.

Meanwhile, RITES’ market capitalization currently stands below the Rs 20k crore level and Texmaco Rail has the lowest market capitalization of Rs 10,805.19 crore.

In Monday’s session, the shares of RVNL had rallied 15.5% to its new all-time high of Rs 567.60, however, the stock tumbled in today’s session amid some profit booking. The sentiment around RVNL remains positive as in the last week, the company had also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) for participation in upcoming projects in India and abroad.

During the fourth quarter itself, the company's revenue, EBITDA, PAT grew by 17.4%, 22%, and 33% YoY respectively as the order book at the end of the quarter stood at around Rs 85,000 crore.

RVNL’s order inflow in FY25 is guided to be in the range of Rs 20,000 crore - Rs 25,000 crore and it aspires to maintain a book-to-sales ratio in the range of 3x - 4x.

Pushed by strong order inflows and strong execution, the multibagger rail PSU stock is having a dream run as the stock has rallied by over 1600% in the past 2 years while displaying a 3 fold growth in the last one year alone.

Shares of RVNL were trading 4% lower at Rs 542.25 on NSE around 1:15 pm today.
