As many as 257 will announce their fourth quarter on Friday with some important names in the mix including , , and .Other companies which will also announce their results include , , , Borosil, Coffee Day, Deep Diamond, , IKIO Lighting, Mahaveer Infoway, PNC Infratech and many more.
Hindalco Q4 expectations
Hindalco Industries, the Aditya Birla Group's metals flagship company, is likely to post muted even though is expected to edge higher. The company will announce its fourth quarter results later today.
Revenue from operations during the January-March 2024 period is likely to decline up to 6% year-on-year, while profit growth is seen up to 23% year-on-year.
is expected to report improved earnings due to the destocking phase in beverage cans and third quarter being a seasonally weak quarter.
"Novelis' EBITDA/ton guidance of $525/ton in 4QFY24 seems achievable," said Motilal Oswal, while adding that the timeline for commissioning multiple capex is crucial.
Investors also await management guidance on domestic aluminum demand along with the hedging position.
NTPC Q4 expectations
State-owned NTPC is likely to see a decline in (profit after tax) in comparison to 4QFY23 on account of recognition of record prior-period revenues in the base quarter.
Kotak Equities also sees modest growth in generation at 96 BU (7.4% year-on-year) on account of expanded capacity base.
Revenue from operations for the fourth quarter is seen in the range of -0.6-13% year-on-year, according to estimates of various brokerages.
"We expect the under-recoveries to be reduced in Q4 which should aid in operational improvement sequentially. Generation grew 6% year-on-year and PLF at 81%. Adjusted PAT is expected to be Rs 5900 crore vs Rs 4900 crore in 4QFY23," said Nuvama.
