Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Construction , Oil & Gas and Developers sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP ), which rose 1.45% or 1.30 points to trade at 90.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Orange Polska SA (WA:OPL ) added 0.90% or 0.08 points to end at 8.79 and Pepco Group Nv (WA:PCOP ) was up 0.90% or 0.16 points to 17.91 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BUDIMEX SA (WA:BDXP ), which fell 4.19% or 24.50 points to trade at 560.50 at the close. CCC SA (WA:CCCP ) declined 3.72% or 5.80 points to end at 150.10 and Enea SA (WA:ENAE ) was down 3.34% or 0.38 points to 11.01.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 282 to 196 and 119 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.59% or 0.41 to $69.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.58% or 0.42 to hit $73.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 14.95 to trade at $2,540.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.22% to 4.28, while USD/PLN rose 0.20% to 3.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.22.
