Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media , Developers and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 declined 1.28% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Cyfrowy Polsat SA (WA:CPS ), which rose 3.75% or 0.46 points to trade at 12.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP ) added 2.46% or 2.20 points to end at 91.65 and CD PROJEKT SA (WA:CDR ) was up 1.41% or 2.20 points to 158.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CCC SA (WA:CCCP ), which fell 5.24% or 9.40 points to trade at 170.10 at the close. Eurocash SA (WA:EUR ) declined 5.00% or 0.46 points to end at 8.74 and LPP SA (WA:LPPP ) was down 4.05% or 640.00 points to 15,180.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 315 to 185 and 102 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eurocash SA (WA:EUR ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.00% or 0.46 to 8.74.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.37% or 1.66 to $71.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.14% or 1.59 to hit $75.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 15.55 to trade at $2,754.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was unchanged 0.06% to 4.32, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.11% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.85.
