Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO ), which rose 3.57% or 4.50 points to trade at 130.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP ) added 3.50% or 7.80 points to end at 230.50 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC ) was up 3.12% or 5.40 points to 178.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM ), which fell 3.66% or 5.80 points to trade at 152.50 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL ) declined 3.08% or 0.09 points to end at 2.86 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR ) was down 2.79% or 1.16 points to 40.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 166 to 119 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nel ASA (OL:NEL ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.08% or 0.09 to 2.86. Shares in Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.79% or 1.16 to 40.48.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.38% or 1.62 to $69.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.16% or 1.55 to hit $73.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.65 to trade at $2,663.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.12% to 11.63, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 11.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 106.24.
