Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.75%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance , Forestry & Paper and Food Producers & Processors sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.75% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Total Maroc SA (CSE:TMA ), which rose 2.67% or 40.00 points to trade at 1,540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT ) added 1.28% or 20.00 points to end at 1,580.00 and Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR ) was up 1.26% or 1.30 points to 104.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were S2M (CSE:S2M ), which fell 6.10% or 13.00 points to trade at 200.00 at the close. Delta Holding S.A (CSE:DHO ) declined 5.26% or 2.89 points to end at 52.10 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:SNA ) was down 4.68% or 0.71 points to 14.45.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 37 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.91% or 0.64 to $69.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.75% or 0.56 to hit $73.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 7.30 to trade at $2,686.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.08% to 10.74, while USD/MAD rose 0.25% to 9.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 103.25.
