Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms , Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Leonardo SpA (BIT:LDOF ), which rose 2.72% or 0.57 points to trade at 21.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Telecom Italia (BIT:TLIT ) added 2.56% or 0.01 points to end at 0.25 and Saipem SpA (BIT:SPMI ) was up 1.90% or 0.04 points to 2.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interpump Group (BIT:ITPG ), which fell 1.69% or 0.70 points to trade at 40.72 at the close. Italgas SpA (BIT:IG ) declined 1.45% or 0.09 points to end at 5.78 and Moncler SpA (BIT:MONC ) was down 0.94% or 0.50 points to 52.78.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 269 to 233 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.16% or 0.11 to $70.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $74.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.80 to trade at $2,684.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.16% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.40% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.28.
