Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.56%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Communication , Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.56%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE ), which rose 1.29% or 35.00 points to trade at 2,752.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE:STRS ) added 0.58% or 33.00 points to end at 5,692.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ ) was up 0.05% or 0.20 points to 432.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT ), which fell 6.19% or 1,910.00 points to trade at 28,960.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN ) declined 4.95% or 45.50 points to end at 873.60 and Nova (TASE:NVMI ) was down 3.78% or 2,860.00 points to 72,750.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 310 to 120 and 109 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.43% or 0.99 to $68.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.24% or 1.63 to hit $71.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 16.30 to trade at $2,526.80 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.54% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.49% to 4.13.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 101.14.
