Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking , Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR ), which rose 1.78% or 3,100.00 points to trade at 177,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ ) added 1.74% or 9.00 points to end at 527.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG ) was up 1.47% or 670.00 points to 46,220.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG ), which fell 7.94% or 104.00 points to trade at 1,205.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE ) declined 2.39% or 75.00 points to end at 3,060.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI ) was down 2.04% or 87.00 points to 4,175.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 206 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR ) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.78% or 3,100.00 to 177,400.00. Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.74% or 9.00 to 527.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.70% or 1.81 to $68.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.65% or 1.88 to hit $72.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.76% or 45.30 to trade at $2,615.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.06% to 3.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 106.39.
