Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms , Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 1.85% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Piraeus Port (AT:OLPr ), which rose 2.59% or 0.75 points to trade at 29.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Elton S.A. (AT:ELNr ) added 1.16% or 0.02 points to end at 1.91 and BriQ Properties REIC (AT:BRIQr ) was up 1.00% or 0.02 points to 2.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr ), which fell 7.53% or 0.22 points to trade at 2.70 at the close. Lavipharm SA (AT:LPHr ) declined 6.49% or 0.05 points to end at 0.72 and Quality and Reliability SA (AT:QUAr ) was down 5.84% or 0.06 points to 1.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 115 to 11 and 9 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.49% or 12.80 to $2,627.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.16% or 0.11 to hit $69.06 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.11% or 0.08 to trade at $73.22 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.04% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 106.15.
