Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction , Travel and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Athens International Airport SA (AT:AIAr ), which rose 4.12% or 0.31 points to trade at 7.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Quality and Reliability SA (AT:QUAr ) added 3.81% or 0.04 points to end at 1.09 and Alumil (AT:ALMr ) was up 3.40% or 0.11 points to 3.19 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:ALBr ), which fell 1.74% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.70 at the close. Coca Cola HBC AG (AT:EEEr ) declined 1.57% or 0.52 points to end at 32.62 and Optima bank SA (AT:OPTIMAr ) was down 1.41% or 0.18 points to 12.62.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 89 to 36 and 18 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.73% or 20.00 to $2,775.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.59% or 0.40 to hit $66.98 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.66% or 0.47 to trade at $70.53 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.35% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 104.31.
