Godrej Consumer declines 1.6% as Sensex slides

In the BSE500 pack, 90 stocks traded in the green, while 410 stocks were in the red.

The stock's beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.96.

Promoters held 63.21 per cent in . as of 31-Dec-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 22.95 per cent and 5.15 per cent, respectively.

The 200-DMA of the stock stood at 1087.19 on April 15, while the 50-DMA was at 1228.17. If a stock trades below 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward.
