Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms , Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V ), which rose 1.42% or 0.05 points to trade at 3.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA ) added 0.71% or 0.45 points to end at 64.00 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES ) was up 0.51% or 0.04 points to 7.83 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM ), which fell 1.88% or 1.30 points to trade at 67.95 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO ) declined 1.30% or 0.11 points to end at 8.63 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA ) was down 1.27% or 0.25 points to 19.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 2.41% or 1.76 to $74.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.62% or 1.82 to hit $71.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 5.05 to trade at $2,744.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.46% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 103.75.
