Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM ), which rose 0.89% or 0.23 points to trade at 26.13 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM ) added 0.86% or 0.12 points to end at 14.16 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI ) was up 0.84% or 0.09 points to 10.77 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV ), which fell 7.31% or 4.24 points to trade at 53.76 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA ) declined 4.16% or 2.75 points to end at 63.35 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV ) was down 1.79% or 0.81 points to 44.54.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 80 and 21 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.49% or 1.08 to $71.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.70% or 1.17 to hit $67.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 7.55 to trade at $2,565.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.54% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 106.51.
