Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials , Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI ), which rose 6.16% or 0.64 points to trade at 11.03 at the close. Meanwhile, TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO ) added 2.27% or 0.39 points to end at 17.58 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV ) was up 1.28% or 0.61 points to 48.21 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA ), which fell 2.62% or 0.11 points to trade at 3.94 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV ) declined 0.93% or 0.10 points to end at 10.69 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE ) was down 0.28% or 0.05 points to 15.96.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 82 to 73 and 32 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $74.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.16% or 0.11 to hit $70.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 17.05 to trade at $2,708.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.35% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 103.55.
