Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA ), which rose 2.03% or 0.44 points to trade at 22.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA ) added 1.05% or 0.65 points to end at 62.60 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA ) was up 0.61% or 0.02 points to 3.79 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V ), which fell 1.33% or 0.05 points to trade at 3.33 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO ) declined 1.21% or 0.11 points to end at 9.13 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV ) was down 0.52% or 0.06 points to 11.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 69 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.61% or 0.02 to 3.79.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.99% or 0.78 to $77.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.97% or 0.73 to hit $74.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.15 to trade at $2,540.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.51% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 100.90.
