Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.96%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.96% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ), which rose 0.72% or 6.60 points to trade at 922.00 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV ) added 0.61% or 7.50 points to end at 1,245.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) was up 0.52% or 0.80 points to 156.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT ), which fell 3.35% or 9.60 points to trade at 276.60 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ) declined 3.32% or 5.50 points to end at 158.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) was down 1.76% or 7.30 points to 407.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 49 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.52% or 0.80 to 156.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.81% or 2.62 to $66.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.26% or 2.34 to hit $69.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 9.45 to trade at $2,542.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.77, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 101.64.
