Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.95%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare , Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.95% to hit a new 6-months low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ), which rose 1.90% or 56.00 points to trade at 2,998.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ) added 1.49% or 13.20 points to end at 897.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT ) was up 1.38% or 9.00 points to 662.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT ), which fell 3.26% or 8.80 points to trade at 261.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) declined 2.52% or 260.00 points to end at 10,040.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ) was down 2.16% or 230.00 points to 10,410.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.61% or 4.03 to $67.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.50% or 4.16 to hit $71.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.50 to trade at $2,757.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.12.
