Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.52%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.52%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ), which rose 4.08% or 5.30 points to trade at 135.20 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE:NKT ) added 2.49% or 13.00 points to end at 534.50 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) was up 2.26% or 16.50 points to 746.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ), which fell 10.90% or 11.70 points to trade at 95.90 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) declined 3.22% or 390.00 points to end at 11,710.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb ) was down 3.04% or 22.40 points to 715.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 62 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) fell to 3-years lows; falling 10.90% or 11.70 to 95.90.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.51% or 0.36 to $69.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.46% or 0.34 to hit $73.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 11.79 to trade at $2,679.69 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 7.08, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 106.15.
