Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.48%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals , Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.48% to hit a new 6-months low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ), which rose 2.32% or 3.10 points to trade at 134.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA ) added 1.76% or 18.50 points to end at 1,067.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT ) was up 1.38% or 3.60 points to 264.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK ), which fell 9.43% or 50.50 points to trade at 485.00 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) declined 3.27% or 14.20 points to end at 419.90 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) was down 2.87% or 3.80 points to 128.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 35 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.10% or 0.07 to $67.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.17 to hit $70.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 22.35 to trade at $2,778.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 104.31.
