Computacenter lower after abrupt departure of CFO

Investing.com -- Shares in Computacenter Plc (LON:CCC ) fell over 4% on Monday after the company announced the abrupt departure of its Chief Financial Officer, Christian Jehle.

Jehle has stepped down from his role as CFO and Executive Director of the Board "by mutual agreement with the Company," effective immediately, the FTSE 250-listed technology and services provider, said in a statement.

Jehle, who joined Computacenter in 2020, will remain with the company until the end of 2024 to ensure a smooth transition.

During this period, his responsibilities will be managed by the broader finance team alongside the existing executive management. The company’s Nomination Committee is set to launch a search for a successor.

Remuneration arrangements detailed in the company’s announcement confirm that Jehle will continue to receive his salary, pension, and benefits until his formal departure date of December 31, 2024.

He will also be eligible for an annual bonus for 2024, contingent on performance targets, but his longer-term incentive awards for 2023 and 2024 under the Performance Share Plan will lapse at the end of next year.

Computacenter assured stakeholders that further details about Jehle's compensation would be disclosed on its website and in the 2024 Annual Report.
