(Reuters) - Warner Bros Discovery (NASDAQ:WBD ) signed a multi-year deal with Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA ) to distribute its content to Xfinity and Sky UK and Ireland customers using Comcast's linear television, apps, and streaming services, the companies said on Monday.
In a renewal of their deal, the companies said Warner Bros Discovery's portfolio of content, including TNT, CNN, and Food Network, will be available to subscribers of Comcast's Xfinity service in the U.S. and Sky in the U.K.
The agreement also gives Comcast greater flexibility in how it packages the ad-supported version of the Max and Discovery+ streaming services. The deal also broadens the collaboration between Warner Bros Discovery and Sky UK, allowing Sky Atlantic to distribute the ad-supported version of the Max streaming app when the service is launched in the U.K. and Ireland in early 2026.
(This story has been corrected to fix the date when Max will be available in the U.K. in paragraph 3)
