Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.01%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.01%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS ), which rose 3.35% or 1,120.00 points to trade at 34,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p ) added 3.32% or 400.00 points to end at 12,440.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH ) was up 2.96% or 2,300.00 points to 80,000.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG ), which fell 1.91% or 360.00 points to trade at 18,500.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE ) declined 1.79% or 170.00 points to end at 9,330.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC ) was down 1.35% or 130.00 points to 9,470.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE ) fell to all time lows; falling 1.79% or 170.00 to 9,330.00.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.72% or 4.35 to $248.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 4.60% or 318.00 to hit $7,235.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.14% or 31.40 to trade at $2,787.30 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,396.14, while BRL/COP rose 0.05% to 762.74.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.13.
