Banking and IT stocks drag Sensex over 100 points lower; Nifty below 22,400

From the Sensex stocks, , , , , , and Infosys opened with cuts, while M&M, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, and SBI opened with gains.
soared by 2%, with Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) taking the lead with over 6% gains. The surge follows the firm's Q4 profit, which surged by 32% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,038 crore, accompanied by an 11% YoY increase in revenue to Rs 25,109 crore.
Consumer Durables also witnessed a 1.6% rise, buoyed by a remarkable 14% increase in Crompton's shares following its Q4 results.
Among individual stocks, Container Corporation of India fell 4% after the company reported muted Q4 results.
