Bank of Baroda rises 1.42% as Sensex slides

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.
A total of 205,056 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:12PM (IST).
The stock of commanded a market value of Rs 140350.77 crore, according to BSE.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 7.39, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.83. Return on equity (ROE) was at 14.18 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 288 stocks traded in the green, while 212 stocks were in the red.
The stock's beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.82.
Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 63.97 per cent in as of 31-Dec-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 12.27 per cent and 8.61 per cent, respectively.
