Adani Total Gas saw a 4% surge in BSE trading to Rs 969 as it announced a 71% YoY increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 168 crore for the quarter ending March. Revenue climbed 5% YoY to Rs 1,258 crore. Additionally, the board proposed a dividend of Re 0.25 per share for FY 2023-24.
Shares of jumped 4% to Rs 969 on BSE in Thuraday’s trade after the company reported a 71% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit to Rs 168 crore for the quarter ended March.Revenue from operations rose 5% YoY to Rs 1,258 crore in the January-March period as against Rs 1,197 crore in the same period last year. The board also recommended a dividend of Re 0.25 per share for the financial year 2023-24.
"FY24 has been a transformative year for ATGL. We delivered a robust operational and financial performance and achieved a 27% year-on-year EBITDA growth on the back of 15% volume growth," said Suresh P Manglani, ED & CEO of Adani Total Gas.
Adani Total Gas had reported a PAT of Rs 104.25 crore in Q4FY23 and a revenue of Rs 1,197.15 crore in the same period last year. In the December ended quarter of FY2024, the net profit reported by ATG stood at Rs 172.28 crore while the revenue at Rs 1,243.16 crore.
Over the past 5 years, the stock has gained 636% while it rose only 0.7% in the past one year.
