Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking , Financials and Real Estate Investments sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 3.72%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL ), which rose 10.00% or 1.96 points to trade at 21.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Kaleseramik Canakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi AS (IS:KLSER ) added 9.97% or 3.20 points to end at 35.30 and Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA ) was up 9.93% or 6.75 points to 74.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Girisim Elektrik Taahhut Ticaret & Sanayi AS (IS:GESAN ), which fell 3.67% or 1.90 points to trade at 49.90 at the close. Papilon Savunma Guvenlik Sistemleri (IS:PAPIL ) declined 1.89% or 1.15 points to end at 59.65 and Adel Kalemcilik Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:ADEL ) was down 1.21% or 0.44 points to 35.94.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 507 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA ) rose to all time highs; rising 9.93% or 6.75 to 74.70.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.62% or 16.45 to $2,668.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.53% or 1.05 to hit $69.80 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.43% or 1.04 to trade at $73.85 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.12% to 34.48, while EUR/TRY rose 0.12% to 36.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 106.52.
