NEW DELHI: Shares of Chemfab Alkalis, Rallis India, Tata Chemicals, Tata Power and Kalpataru Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 19.5 points up at 22493.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Indiabulls Intgrtd, Sanco Industries, Compuage Infocom, Vaxtex Cotfab and Stampede Cap(DVR), touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, Tata Consumer, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and JSW Steel were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, BPCL, RIL, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 33.4 points up at 74119.39.
Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Industrial Equipment, Fertilisers and Media & Entertainment sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Mining and Trading sectors during the day.
