Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.5% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.5 per cent down at 1016.9.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:25AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.57 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 0.37 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.33 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 3.74 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.28 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.88 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.5 per cent at 1016.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 27.3 points at 22959.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 53.14 points at 75443.64.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Inox Wind Ltd., RattanIndia Power, YES Bank and NALCO were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of SMS Lifesciences Ind, Ashima Ltd, DOMS Industries, Excel Realty N Infra and Arvind Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Priti International, Revathi Equipment, Lakshmi Precis, Ahimsa Ind and Madhav Marbles hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
