Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.15%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.15 per cent down at 916.5.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Thursday.Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.76 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.36 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), Swan Energy Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.15 per cent down at 916.5.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 19.5 points at 22493.55, while the BSE Sensex stood up 33.4 points at 74119.39.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red.
Shares of Infibeam Avenues, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Steel and Tata Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Chemfab Alkalis, Rallis India, Tata Chemicals, Tata Power and Kalpataru Power hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Indiabulls Intgrtd, Sanco Industries, Compuage Infocom, Vaxtex Cotfab and Stampede Cap(DVR)hit their fresh 52-week lows.
