Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.07% in a weak market

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.56 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.07 per cent at 915.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 57.15 points at 22436.4, while the BSE Sensex was down 239.58 points at 73879.81.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Infibeam Avenues, Vodafone Idea, Jio Financial Servic and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Chemfab Alkalis, Kirloskar Bros., Torrent Power, Trent and Solar Ind. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vibhor Steel Tubes, Infomedia Press, Platinum Industries, Mask Investments and Stampede Cap(DVR)hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
