Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 2.14% in an upbeat market

Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.19 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 2.14 per cent at 1118.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.21 points at 23362.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 152.17 points at 76758.74.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 were trading in the green, while 28 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, YES Bank, Hind Const Co and Shree Ren Sug were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of DRC Systems India, Selan Expl Tech, Bharat Rasayan, Mawana Sugars and Honda Siel Power hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Borosil Scientific, GIR Natureview, IndInfravit Trust, 3rd Rock MultiMedia and Revathi Equipment hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
