Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.83% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:49AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 7.65 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.32 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 3.98 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 63.4 points at 24650.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 189.29 points at 80854.15.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, IRB Infra Dev., YES Bank, IRFC and IFCI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Keynote Financial, Mukka Proteins, Sportking India, Umang Dairies and Chennai Petro hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Stampede Cap(DVR), SecUR Credentials, M M Forgings and Landmark Cars hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
