Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.47% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.47 per cent up at 1117.2.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:25AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 4.99 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 4.32 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.17 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.47 per cent at 1117.2 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 35.6 points at 24177.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 116.76 points at 79592.95.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato, Motherson Sumi and NLC India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of G M Breweries, Refex Industries, JK Paper, DCX Systems and Rane Holdings hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Hilton Metal, Akme Fintrade(India, Praxis Home Retail, GIR Natureview and IndInfravit Trust hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
