Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.41%
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.41 per cent up at 1018.9.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Wednesday.Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 5.63 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 2.87 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.45 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 1.95 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.88 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.0 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.41 per cent up at 1018.9.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 68.75 points at 22597.8, while the BSE Sensex stood up 267.75 points at 74221.06.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, NHPC, YES Bank, IRB Infra Dev. and RattanIndia Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Tainwala Chem, GeeCee Ventures, Ausom Enterprise, GE Power India and PNC Infratech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Revathi Equip, Brightcom Group, Karda Const, Valiant Laboratories and Indegene hit their fresh 52-week lows.
