Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.4% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.4 per cent up at 1098.8.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:09AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.DLF Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.7 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.4 per cent at 1098.8 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 42.55 points at 23301.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 120.75 points at 76610.83.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
Shares of IRB Infra Dev., Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, GMR Infra and Reliance Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Panache Digilife, Hind Const Co, Essar Shipping, Sheetal Cool and Indian Metals hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sanginita Chemicals, Neueon Towers, Kronox Lab Sciences, Borosil Scientific and Supreme Engineering hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
