Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.29% in a weak market

Sobha Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent) and Swan Energy Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 1.29 per cent at 936.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 45.21 points at 22469.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 151.48 points at 74076.15.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Renewable, JP Power and Reliance Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Indraprastha Med, SCI Land and Assets, Bhartiya Intnl, Indo Tech Trans and Mahindra Lifespace hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Bodhi Tree Multimed, Welspun Invst, 3rd Rock MultiMedia, Nagreeka Capital and GIR Natureview hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
