Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.21% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.21 per cent up at 898.95.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:29AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.Sobha Ltd.(up 5.33 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.71 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 1.17 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Swan Energy Ltd.(down 0.1 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.21 per cent at 898.95 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 139.46 points at 22144.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 487.59 points at 72957.89.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, NHPC and Zee Ent. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Onelife Capital, Bharat Bijlee, Lakshmi Machine, Hindustan Media and ABB India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while TIL Ltd, Popular Vehicles, Future Retail, MT Educare and Sanco Industries hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
