Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.01% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.01 per cent up at 966.9.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:49AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.3 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.13 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.01 per cent at 966.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 95.35 points at 22463.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 345.12 points at 74083.57.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 42 were trading in the green, while 8 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, SAIL, Indian Railway Fin and South Indian Bnk were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Raj Oil Mills, Geojit Financial, Aegis Logistics, Data Patterns(India and Kaveri Seed Co. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Atal Realtech, Impex Ferro Tech, NBI Industrial, 3rd Rock MultiMedia and GIR Natureview hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
